Kevin Patrick McFadden

Kevin Patrick McFadden, 69, of Woodbridge, Virginia died on December 28th, 2023 at Alexandria Hospital. Born and raised in Newport, Rhode Island, he relocated to Woodbridge, Virginia after college, where he started a family. Kevin was a well-respected husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joan and Daniel, and is survived by his wife Arlene, son Rory (Teresa), son Conor, three grandchildren Maci, Kyla and Evan, sister Martha Coriander (Phil), and brother Daniel. He grew up as an athlete, playing multiple sports while he was a student at De La Salle Academy. After high school, he chose to attend Fairfield University where he graduated with an accounting degree. He loved joining his classmates at reunions and maintained many relationships with friends over the years. Kevin had an extremely successful career and recently retired as a senior manager at KPMG. He would research a topic thoroughly before giving the best advice and was always there to lend a helping hand. He took great pleasure in serving others and his absence has left a massive void to those he loved. Kevin shared his passion of sports with his sons. He coached Little League and AAU teams in their youth and enjoyed watching countless games together at home. Kevin would often prepare an amazing meal to share with his family while watching football on Sunday, always making sure to include a favorite item for each person there. Kevin valued his friendships and shared numerous stories with his family over the years. He shared his passion for music, sports, and cooking with those that he loved. He was the life of the party and always in charge of the playlist for everyone to enjoy. He was the first to offer a helping hand and was always present at important events. Kevin was the most welcoming and caring person. His family and friends will be forever grateful for his unconditional love and moral life lessons. Kevin’s legacy will live on through the memories that we shared. A service for Kevin is scheduled at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 12807 Valleywood Drive, Woodbridge, Virginia, on Friday, January 5th, 2024 at 11:00AM. A celebration of life will follow at Hector’s of Lake Ridge in Tackett’s Mill from 1:00 – 5:00PM. All are welcome to join family and share memories of Kevin.
