Antoine Kirk Morton

Antoine Kirk Morton was born in Arlington, Virginia, on December 13, 1987, to L'Tanya Banks-Morton and Harold Morton. Antoine departed his life on June 5, 2026, at VCU Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia. Antoine spent his early years in Bailey Crossroads, Virginia. He attended Higher Horizon Daycare and Glen Forest Elementary School. Later on, he relocated to Woodbridge, Virginia, where he attended Rippon Middle, Potomac High School, and Forest Park High School. Antoine was on the basketball and football teams at Forest Park, where he excelled and was awarded a scholarship to Virginia State (HBCU). He later graduated with his BA Degree and started his career in Computer Information Systems. Antoine continued his dream of working in IT. He worked for DRS Corporation and was sent to Afghanistan for the US Marines and the DOD to build a satellite. Antoine later went to Kansas City to Cerner Systems and helped design their new health care system. After missing family and friends, Antoine decided it was time to move closer to home. He was later hired by VCU Medical Center in Richmond, VA, Booze Allen Tyson Corner, VA, and his current employer was with Eight Elven Group (Roche) where he was a Consultant. Antoine loved his family and friends; he was the bright light in the room. He loved traveling and cooking, and he loved music. He was a true die-hard Commander's fan. Antoine was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clarice Banks, Doris Morton, and Uncle Howard and James Banks, Raymond, Clifford, and Clifton Morton, Cynthia Morton, Carnetta Morton, and LaShawne Evans. Antoine leaves his loving memories to be cherished by his loving mother and father, L'Tanya(Pepsi) and Harold (Lucky), Sister Mishana Morton (Shawn), brother Harold Jr(Peanut)(Tyeshia). His Aunts Maria Morton, Geraline Banks-Reese (Jeri)(Lem), Deborah Porter, and Brenda Green (Keith). His Uncles Andre Porter, Irvin Porter (Felicia), Jonathan (Buck) Banks, Dushawne, and Rodderick. Brother cousins, Jimmy, Jwan (Amy), Gerrell (Kyana) A host of nieces and nephews and cousins, and many friends from Bailey's Crossroad, Woodbridge, and Richmond, VA. Special friend Sade Lumpkin and her son.
