Anabella Orellana

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anabella Orellana, 60 on July 1, 2026. She was surrounded by the love of her family and after a long and remarkably courageous battle with cancer, she has peacefully entered her eternal rest. Born on March 3, 1966, in Guatemala, Anabella’s life was defined by her boundless capacity to love. She was a devoted wife, a fiercely loving mother, and a faithful servant of God who walked through life with grace and humility. Her family was the absolute center of her universe; she found her greatest joy in the simple, sacred moments spent laughing, sharing, and being present with those she held dear. Anabella possessed a rare, gentle spirit—her kind heart was a sanctuary for many, her unwavering faith was an anchor, and the warmth she gave so freely will continue to illuminate the lives of everyone she touched. We will forever remember her laugh, her smile, her playful spirit, and her radiance. Her legacy of love lives on through her survivors: her beloved husband, Romeo Orellana; her cherished daughters, Diana Ostorga and Andrea Thornton; her devoted son, Jonathan Orellana-Hernandez; and her dear sister, Odilia Campos. She also leaves behind a wide circle of extended family members and lifelong friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. She will continue to live in our hearts and all of those she touched, for nothing loved is ever lost, and we loved her so very much. Que Dios la reciba en su santa gloria. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Miller Funeral Home and Crematory Inc, 3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192. Family and friends are invited to gather for a viewing on Monday, July 13th, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Miller Funeral Home. A funeral mass celebrating her beautiful life and faith will take place on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, at 12:30 pm at Holy Family Catholic Church, 14160 Ferndale Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22193. Anabella will be laid to rest on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Memorial Park, 8420 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, VA 22003.
