It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Addie Mae Price, a beloved mother, and friend, who departed this life on December 19, 2025, at the age of 80. Born on August 2, 1945, in New York, Addie was the cherished daughter of Benjamin and Rose Middleton. Her radiant spirit touched the lives of many, and she will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Addie's life was a testament to love, dedication, and strength. She lived in various places throughout her life, eventually settling in Woodbridge, Virginia, where she created a nurturing home filled with laughter and joy. Her family was the center of her world, and she took immense pride in raising her children. Addie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Price Sr., and her wonderful children, Ronald E. Price Jr. of Newport News, VA; Latontra Price of Fort Worth, TX; Damon Price of Woodbridge, VA; and Maurice Price of North Ridgeville, OH. Each of her children carries with them the values of kindness and compassion that Addie instilled in them. After many years of dedicated service, Addie retired as a Lead Daycare Teacher, a role in which she poured her heart and soul. Her patience and nurturing nature made her a favorite among the children and their families. She had a unique ability to connect with each child, inspiring them to learn and grow in a loving environment. Addie’s impact on the lives of the children she taught will be felt for generations to come. Throughout her life, Addie exemplified what it meant to be a devoted family member and a compassionate friend. Her home was a gathering place where love was abundant, and everyone felt welcome. She had a gift for making others feel special, often remembering the smallest details about their lives. Addie was a confidante, a shoulder to cry on, and a source of unwavering support for those she loved. While Addie’s physical presence will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends. In accordance with her wishes, a private funeral service will be held to honor her life and legacy. As we say goodbye to Addie Mae Price, let us celebrate a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and an unwavering commitment to family. Her memory will forever be a guiding light in our lives, reminding us of the importance of kindness, family, and the love we share.
