James "Bob" Robert Scott, Sr., 95, of Woodbridge, Virginia, passed away September 1, 2020. He is a retired Chief from the U.S. Navy of 27 years. Fought in three wars, WW2, Korea, Vietnam. He was a member of the Masonic Occoquan Lodge No. 310, Celestial Lodge 525 in Lebanon, IN, 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason with the Valley of Alexandria, and life member in the Naval Fleet Reserve. He was preceded in death by his wife, Myra; daughter, Jane Myers and granddaughter, Mary Scott. He is survived by his son, James R. Scott, Jr. and his wife, Karen; grandson, Dru "Scotty" Joslin and his wife, Pam; granddaughter, Heather Dedmon and her husband, Jesse; grandson, Jarrett Pitchford and his wife Sarah; grandson, Casey Scott; great grandchildren, Dustin King, Kyle and Lindsay Joslin and Caleb and Charlotte Pitchford; sister, Peg Wood and her husband, Cecil; sister-in-law, Thelma Enoch and numerous nieces and nephews. Services are scheduled for 6 p.m., Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at Miller Funeral Home. The family will receive visitors from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
