Darcy Raul Salinas

Miller Funeral Home announces the passing of Darcy Raul Salinas, 61, of Woodbridge, VA who transitioned on Monday, June 7th of 2021 at home after a long illness. Darcy was born on August 2, 1959 in Lima, Peru to the late Raul W. Salinas and Esther Caceres de Salinas. He attended high school at Pedro Coronado and studied Physical Education at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos in 1979. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1989. He was a retired plumbing technician at Roto Rooter after over 20 years of service. Darcy is survived by his wife, Pilar and his two sons, Michael and Randy, his daughter, Wanda, and his two granddaughters, Julissa and Jiselle. His hobbies included running marathons, dance choreography for cultural folklore, sports, songwriting and playing a number of instruments. Public viewing is scheduled for 2 pm - 7pm, on both Sunday, June 13th and Tuesday, June 15th, at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd, Woodbridge, VA 22192. Darcy era un técnico de plomería en RotoRooter y se jubiló después de más de 20 años de servicio. Darcy deja a su esposa, Pilar y sus dos hijos, Michael y Randy, su hija, Wanda, y sus dos nietas, Julissa y Jiselle. Sus pasatiempos incluían correr maratones, bailar danzas folkloricas y enseñar bailes, practicar deporte, escribir canciones y tocar varios instrumentos con sus amigos y familiares.
