On December 30, 2011, Steve passed away quietly.  Steve is survived by Laura, his loving wife of 22 years, daughters Dana and Jenna, twin sons Michael and Tony as well as parents Leonard and Jeanette and sisters Cathy and Patty.

Steve was born in the District of Columbia on April 10, 1955 and grew up in District Heights, Maryland.  He graduated from Bishop McNamara High School and the University of Maryland at College Park.  Steve had a distinguished 36-year career as a contracts professional with the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 5th from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Boulevard, Woodbridge, VA 22192. Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 6th at 11:00 AM at First Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 16622 Dumfries Road, Dumfries, VA 22025, followed by a short graveside service at 1:30 PM at Stonewall Memorial Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA 20109.
