Of Woodbridge, VA, died May 29, 2012. He served in the Air Force from January, 1956 - July, 1961. Marcel worked for the RASCO Corp of Woodbridge, VA 1991 - 2010. He had memberships at the Lions of Montclair & Dale City, VA, Moose Lodge 2165 Dale City, VA, Elks Lodge, Woodbridge, VA, Secretary of the Lions Club of Montclair, VA, ARRP, Deputy State Coordinator and Chief Training Officer, Boy Scouts representative for Dale City Moose Lodge. Marc has received many award and certificates over the years for his community services as well as receiving Citizen of the Year for Prince William County, 205. He was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

Marc's greatest joy in life was serving the community that he lived in for the past 49 years. Helping those in need! Marc is preceded in death by his parents the late Alphee and Julia Bedard and brother, Raymond of Waterbury, Connecticut.

Marc is survived by his wife of 50 years, Elaine Jean Bedard of Dale City, Virginia, and their two son's Raymond Marcel Bedard, wife Pam and their three daughters of South Daytona Beach, Florida, and David Edward Bedard, wife Shirley of Gainesville, Virginia. Sister, Pauline Kalita of Waterbury, Connecticut and brother Denis Bedard and wife of Plaino, Texas.

The family will receive visitors Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Home, 3200 Golansky Blvd., Woodbridge, VA 22192. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 14160 Ferndale Rd, Woodbridge, VA 22193.
