It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of one of the most beautiful and courageous women in our lives. Kathleen Marie Stroschein Kelly went to rest in the loving arms of our most Heavenly Father on January 1, 2012 after an extensive and valiant battle with cancer.

Kathy was born on May 11, 1957 in Evanston, Illinois, lived in
Antioch, Illinois until she graduated from high school, and has resided in Northern Virginia for over 20 years. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Loretta L. (Ahern) Stroschein. She is survived by her adoring father, Francis M. Stroschein and his wife Amy of Prarie du Chien, Wisconsin; her loving fiancé, Peter R. Barlow of Woodbridge, Virginia; two devoted daughters, Kristel M. Luczak and her
husband Ronnie of Germantown, Maryland, and Katelyn M. Kelly of the residence; two adoring grandsons, Colton Luczak and Mason Luczak; five siblings, Teresa M. Roach and her husband Edward of Bristol, Wisconsin, Pamela A. Stroschein of Marshalltown, Iowa, CAPT Thomas M. Stroschein, U.S. Navy of Lake Jackson, Texas, James A. Stroschein and
his wife Dawn of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, and Valerie A. Draud of Chatham, Virginia; several cherished nieces, nephews, cousins, and a vast number of friends and family members.
